As a result, we get a mini-pool, installed with our own hands, the sides of which are flush with the ground level.

In some cases, the container can be partially buried or mounted on the floor of the washing room.

Tip: If the washing compartment is small and there is nowhere to install a full-size hot tub, you can purchase a model with a corner configuration. Such a container can be installed close to the walls, therefore, there will be a lot of free space.

A plastic hot tub, unlike its wooden counterparts, does not require additional, more complex care. Since plastic is not subject to rotting and cracking, the service life of a polypropylene bathtub is many times greater than that of other analogues.

We are building a bathhouse with a font

When building a bathhouse from scratch, immediately design the font, think about the distribution of communications, as well as where and in what volumes the water can be drained. If the groundwater level allows, then completely deepen the font; firstly, the room will be more spacious, and secondly, there will be no sides on which you can trip.

Deepening the font will require the following work:

• Digging a pit is not a problem and is dug according to the shape of the font manually or with special equipment at the stage of laying the foundation of the bathhouse. Digging a pit for a font in a finished room after opening the floor is much more difficult. Cramped conditions make shoveling difficult and limit the area for excavated soil. The dimensions of the pit should be 1.2 meters larger than the dimensions of the bathtub. 60 cm from each side of the font. This will allow installation, thermal insulation and concrete work to be carried out without difficulty.
• Preparing the foundation is a complex of works. First of all, the base is compacted, then geotextiles are laid, and then sand is backfilled. Sand is compacted and poured for additional compaction. The height of the backfill is about 30 cm.
• Pouring the base - first of all, the reinforcement frame of the base is connected. The reinforcement is laid in two layers, the cell is 20x20 cm. Next, M300 concrete is poured. The base should be smooth, without potholes or stones. If the stones still protrude, you need to knock them off and cover them with tile adhesive.
• Installation of the bowl or cooking on site from polypropylene sheets and additional reinforcement.
• Installation of equipment (filter unit, skimmer, nozzle and pipeline fittings).
• Construction of formwork inside the polypropylene bowl, as well as outside. Because Polypropylene does not hold loads well and requires concreting. Formwork can be made from available materials: boards, plywood, OSB.
• Concreting walls. Walls with a thickness of 15 to 25 cm are poured in stages. First, about 30 cm of water is poured into the font, and then concrete is poured to the water level. They wait 1-2 days for the concrete to set, and again pour in 30 cm of water, and so on.

The whole range of work does not present any particular technical difficulties, but if there is no experience working with concrete and formwork, this can lead to damage to the polypropylene bowl. After all, after pouring concrete, they cannot be plastered, and all the flaws will be visible on the polypropylene.

Decorating the side of the font

The final chord of installation is finishing the side of the bowl. It all depends on the tastes and capabilities of the customer. An excellent option is a special side stone - it looks decent, with it the font takes on a finished look, although it is quite expensive. A good option is a terrace board - it is environmentally friendly and looks very good. If the board is made of a wood-polymer composite, then it is not at all afraid of water and no difficulties with painting will arise in the future.
