A little theory

Of course, fragrant beer and “fragrant” fish, which are usually enjoyed in the sauna (as it happens), will not help in losing weight at all, but, on the contrary, will greatly hinder. Needless to say, ladies don't drink beer or eat dried or dried fish.

I am begging you. They gobble up both cheeks. There is nothing reprehensible in this; on the contrary, the drink is good for women’s health (of course, in moderate doses). But not in this case.

Alcoholic drinks, salty, fatty, hot, spicy foods are prohibited in the bathhouse!

There are many ways to lose weight in a steam room: some pamper you with amazing results, while others – with its absence. So that you do not torture your curvy body with one or another ineffective methods, I have chosen the best of them. I admit, I didn’t conduct experiments on myself, but I scrupulously studied all the numerous reviews from women of different ages and consulted with highly qualified specialists.

So, how to steam yourself so that those disgusting extra pounds escape like rats from a ship? It's simple! But at the same time, you shouldn’t hope for a miracle and believe in beautiful fairy tales. Always be friends with physical education and you will be happy. I got a little distracted, although on topic. Let's continue...

Infrared sauna for weight loss

If you play sports, you can easily find an infrared sauna in your fitness center. It perfectly relaxes after strength training and has a positive effect in the fight against excess weight. This is due to the principle of how a sauna affects weight loss. It differs from a regular bath in that the body is heated several centimeters deep, and this can directly affect fat deposits, which, along with sweat, come out through the pores on the skin. Infrared rays also remove toxins and fat breakdown products from the body along with liquid. In one session you can lose up to 700 kcal, which can be compared with the body’s expenditure during strength training. Thus, regular sessions can have a positive effect on your figure and make it slimmer.

A few simple tips to make your infrared sauna effective:

  • A hot shower will help increase sweating before the procedure.
  • Do not use cosmetic products before the sauna.
  • Keep your skin dry, as water and sweat resist infrared radiation.
  • Do not eat before the session.
  • After the procedure, be at rest, as the circulatory system needs to recover.
  • Drink water before and after the procedure to restore balance.

More practice

For bath procedures to give excellent results, you must:

  • eat properly before, during and after visiting the steam room;
  • follow the rules of staying in the steam room;
  • drink a lot of liquid (within reasonable limits) - teas, decoctions, fresh juices;
  • do peeling, perform wraps and apply cream.

Nutrition

The day before visiting the bathhouse, exclude the following dishes from your diet:

  • salty;
  • spicy;
  • spicy;
  • fat;
  • sour;
  • smoked;
  • flour;
  • fried;
  • sweet.

In addition, avoid the following drinks:

  • strong coffee;
  • black tea;
  • juice;
  • soda.

Of course, you should not starve; on the contrary, you need to eat, since visiting the bathhouse on an empty stomach is strictly prohibited! How to eat properly then? Experts advise paying attention to the following menu:

  • first breakfast – whole grain porridge + green tea;
  • second breakfast - dried fruits;
  • lunch – boiled meat (chicken, rabbit, turkey) + vegetable salad + tea (green);
  • afternoon snack – a glass of kefir or yogurt;
  • dinner – baked fish + vegetables.

Before going to bed, you can drink a glass of low-fat kefir. In addition, do not forget to drink still water throughout the day.

Rules for staying in the steam room

To lose weight in a public health resort, follow some rules.

  1. Pre-bath room. Go to the dressing room, take off your clothes, wrap yourself in a sheet (towel), put on a hat and slippers.
  2. Washing room. Go into the shower, untie the sheet, take off the cap, turn on the water, stand under the warm streams for 5-7 minutes, wipe yourself dry.
  3. Steam room. Go into the steam room, cover the bottom shelf with a towel, lie down for 2 minutes, then go out to the relaxation room and drink tea. Enter the steam room a second time, cover the bottom shelf with a towel, lie down for 5 minutes, go out, drink tea, apply a scrub. Go into the steam room, take a broom, steam it, lie down and ask your “partner” to give you a good whipping on problem areas. After 5 minutes, leave the steam room, apply the mask, wait the right time, rinse and cover your body with cream.

And before visiting the steam room, you can apply honey to problem areas, and after leaving the room, wash it off (with the help of honey you can not only lose weight, but also improve your health).

These simple rules will help you get rid of extra pounds.

Decoctions

To increase sweating, drink decoctions from the following plants:

  • viburnum;
  • mint;
  • strawberries;
  • linden;
  • daisies.

The decoctions are prepared simply. A tablespoon of herb is poured into the container and filled with water. The container is placed on the stove and cooked over low heat for 10 minutes. Then the container is removed from the stove, covered with a lid, wrapped in a towel, and infused for about an hour. After which the broth is filtered through 2-3 layers of gauze and poured into a thermos. Drink a fragrant liquid without sugar in between visits to the steam room.

In addition to decoctions, of course, drink teas, fresh juices and infusions. Fortunately, there are a lot of recipes on the Internet. I will write the best of them below.

How much weight can you lose?

Many people are interested in how much weight they can lose by visiting a bathhouse or sauna. Let us clarify: in one correct session it is possible to lose from 2 to 4 kg. To get this effect, you need to actively stimulate increased sweating. There are 2 ways to do this: rub the body with natural honey with added salt, or use 76-degree alcohol for the same purpose. True, it is best to prefer honey and salt. It will also work as a scrub.

Both drugs cause heavy sweating, which will continue even after you leave the steam room. That is why it is unacceptable to cool down suddenly after the steam room - you will stop sweating.

You should not expect that you will be able to part with the same number of kilograms every time. It doesn't happen once at a time. Visit the sauna weekly - and very soon you will feel the desired lightness throughout your body, lose weight and improve your well-being.

Cosmetical tools

To effectively lose weight in a bathhouse, do three procedures and, when you go home, you will see a result that will incredibly pleasantly surprise you (within reason, of course). Also promote active weight loss:

  • peeling;
  • wrap;
  • applying cream.

Wrapping is a cosmetic procedure that involves wrapping problem areas with a special film that creates a greenhouse effect. To obtain maximum results, apply a mask to the body. A simple but effective procedure is famous for the following properties:

  • regenerating;
  • nutritious;
  • moisturizing;
  • stimulating;
  • rejuvenating;
  • anti-cellulite;
  • tonic;
  • general strengthening;
  • fat burning.

Is it possible to prepare masks that enhance the effect yourself? Well, of course! Even necessary. I’ll write the best mask recipes below.

Peeling is a cosmetic procedure that involves the effective removal of dead skin cells, under which healthy and young skin “hides,” as well as any impurities. The procedure is known for the following properties:

  • cleansing;
  • activating;
  • regenerating;
  • exfoliating;
  • whitening;
  • anti-inflammatory;
  • nutritious;
  • moisturizing;
  • antioxidant;
  • tonic;
  • anti-cellulite.

And, of course, the procedure helps you lose those disgusting pounds.

The final stage is applying the cream. The procedure proudly demonstrates the following properties:

  • calming;
  • nutritious;
  • restorative;
  • protective;
  • anti-cellulite;
  • moisturizing;
  • anti-aging;
  • anti-inflammatory;
  • smoothing;
  • softening;
  • bactericidal;
  • deodorizing.

You will not only get rid of excess weight, but also give your skin health.

Peeling + wrapping + applying cream in the bath = the body of your dreams!

Temperature difference

Lazy Finnish saunas differ from active Russian baths by drier air - humidity 5-10% at the same high temperature. A proper Russian bathhouse requires a heated air temperature of 80–120° C with a humidity of 40–70%. The hammam, like the thermal baths, will set the heat at 40–70° C with almost 100% humidity. An important condition for proper steaming: there can only be one highest indicator - either humidity or temperature.

The Russian version is located in the golden mean from all these extremes and is distinguished by the inconstancy of its parameters. With high air humidity, deep heating of the body is achieved in more favorable conditions, but the body's sweating function is lower than in aggressive dry air space. Approximate ratios of parameters accepted for steam rooms in the civilized world:

  • dry – 90–120° C, humidity 5–10%;
  • humid – 70–90° C, humidity 20–40%;
  • steam – 60–80° C, humidity 40–60%;
  • steam – 40–50° C, humidity up to 100%.

All these values can be present in one steam room at once, since the air at the floor level is heated to 40° C, the lower shelf level – 60° C, the upper level – 120° C. Naturally, air humidity changes at these levels in proportion to temperature. At the lowest level it will be 60%, and at the highest level the shelf will be 5%. Hot air expands, so it contains less oxygen and becomes thinner, as in the mountains at an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level.
